Success Licensing offers the complete 40-hour pre-licensing education required by the State of Michigan to earn your Real Estate Salesperson License. Every course is taught live, in person, by an instructor who genuinely cares about your outcome.
Our curriculum is concise, up to date, and built specifically around what Michigan’s state exam tests — nothing more, nothing less. We teach in person because the data backs it up: live instruction leads to significantly higher pass rates than online alternatives. Many of our students come to us after struggling with the online model. We’re here to make sure you don’t have to take that exam twice.

Leslyn Koehler
Leslyn has been a licensed real estate instructor with the State of Michigan for three years, bringing both academic structure and real-world perspective into the classroom. Have been in the real estate world and a maretingting leader, she understands not only how to pass the exam — but how to think like a successful agent from day one. Known for her clarity, encouragement, and strategic teaching style, Leslyn helps students connect complex concepts to practical application. Her focus is simple: build confidence, strengthen mindset, and prepare each student to walk into the Michigan State Exam ready to succeed.
Dan Lane
Dan Lane brings more than 30 years of experience in sales, management, and training. He began his career in the Recreation Vehicle industry—what he now jokingly calls his time in “wheel estate”—before transitioning into real estate in 2022.
As Director of Integration and Technology, Dan’s natural ability to master systems and simplify complexity quickly set him apart. His expertise with CRM technology led him to train new agents, but he didn’t stop at teaching buttons and dashboards. He built a practical, real-world training program that helps agents confidently understand contracts, prepare compelling listing presentations and CMAs, and navigate negotiations to create wins for both agents and their clients.
